I decided to start this Substack way back in June of 2024, which seems like an age ago but — weirdly enough — was actually this year. I’d been writing about technology since 2015, in a shift away from a sales and marketing career that spanned a quarter of a century but was no longer satisfying or viable in the long run. But technology writing has fallen off a cliff in terms of doing quality work while making an actual living, so this Substack represents my next step.
